The Harvard Graduate School of Design is a renowned institution for aspiring architects, urban planners, and landscape architects. In order to provide an exceptional learning experience for its students, the school required a complete renovation of its workspaces. More than 450 Formaspace products, including work desks and custom carts, were installed on four levels of the building within the requested time frame. The reinforced divider panels create individual work areas that let through natural light while enhancing privacy. The secure mobile carts provide student storage for project tools and personal items, with a removable tabletop that can be used as a cutting mat for model building and other tasks. In addition, the sturdy “chalk trays” offer convenient safekeeping for pens, utility knives, and other small project tools. The combination of functionality and aesthetics ensures that the Harvard GSD students have the ideal environment to focus, learn and create. Overall, the Formaspace solution provided an exceptional upgrade to the workspace of the Harvard Graduate School of Design, providing students with the tools they need to succeed in their fields.
