Formaspace Contract is excited to welcome this year’s 2022 visitors, reps and guests in our new permanent showroom at the Merchandise Mart floor 11, space #124. At our new showroom, Formaspace Contract will be showcasing design collaborations with Q Design, Life Science systems and select custom furniture solutions.
The MKR line features the same industrial chic design that represents the signature Formaspace aesthetic. From the honesty in materials to the thoughtful design details, MKR is our first complete line encompassing solutions for both indoors and out to address the new landscape of the hybrid office and flexible work environments.
Designed for ultimate workplace flexibility, the Diversiform wall system is made up of modular sections with customized paneling that can be configured and customized for any type of commercial space. The paneling can be customized with all types of different materials: whiteboards, foam, writeable glass, wooden screens, shelving and cabinetry for extra storage and even live planters for green space additions. The frame itself made up of wood and welded steel can be assembled and distributed by hand so spaces can be moved or arranged at a moment’s notice. The paneling can also provide opportunities for branding, art pieces or presentation areas, depending on the business’s needs.
One of the most versatile and necessary pieces of equipment in a lab space is the work bench. A vital component for technicians, the FLX workbench is designed for integrated cooperation and collaboration between the desk spaces. The casework allows for maximum storage as well as the shelving above the desk. The open shelving provides a harmonizing workflow and communication portal. The tops and frames of the FLX system can be customized with colors and materials, depending on lab needs. The tech bar can also include any features that the modern technician requires. Designed for life sciences, laboratories, research facilities and classrooms.
At Formaspace Contract, we know what helps a lab environment stay organized and tidy which is important for technicians. The casework can be fabricated to any specification and made to fit equipment, tools, shelving and tech. The casework can be modular or static with varied materials like wood or epoxy for the tops and different colored powder coatings for the steel frame. We can also include custom casework on our benches and desk systems.
The credenza design is an industrial chic blend of steel sheets on sides and top, and book-matched wood laminate doors in a herringbone design, providing a unique balance of high style with an industrial edge. The ZigZag table is a multipurpose bench seating design that includes a planter, seating, and table for standing or seated work, informal meetings, or rest space. The use and applications are widely varied from outdoor retail and hospitality spaces to commercial or office indoor/outdoor workstations.
Our signature “I love you so much” neon sign pays homage to one of the most notable attractions in our hometown of Austin, TX. Located in the trendy SoCo area of south Austin, the original “I love you so much” mural is painted on the side of Jo’s coffee shop. A friend of the owner spontaneously wrote the saying with red spray paint to show her support of the new coffee venture. Now the mural is a place for tourists and locals to go and snap a photo with a friend or loved one (even pets). The team at Formaspace Contract brought a little bit of Austin to NeoCon for visitors to enjoy the friendly Texan vibes.
